It’s ironic that people would ask God for a sign when he has already done so much for us. In today’s culture we are constantly limiting God and putting constraints around what he is capable of.
Is it just me or does it seem that we are people who are increasingly self-centered and fooled into feeling that we are entitled to shout demands of God?
I love this picture because of the joy that is expressed on the woman’s face. She is a wonderful example how God’s love is reflected through people and how a smile can portray His love.
I love raw moments like the one captured in the photo above. Over time our lives can become cluttered and even though we might not be aware of it God still loves us. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just wipe all the mess away leaving room only for His love.
To quote Steve “My wife and I saw this video GEORGE STREET (This is About a Great Witness) and were just blown away by it. So we made a web site and had 1000 pens made that say “R U saved? If U die 2day will you 2 Heaven? “ We leave them on tables in restaurants, we sign the credit slip with their pen and hand back ours, drop them in purses, on desks and all kinds of places. The Spirit will guide us at times and at times we have fun slipping them someplace without being seen.”
Picture a fat kid digging his fork into the golden-hued, pillowy swiss butter cream frosting to find four soft and moist layers of butter cake delicately flavored. Each layer is sandwiched with dense, rich, and chocolate and covered with a think dousing of creamy frosting. I think we can all assume he would probably step over his own mother just for a piece.
Now picture the love of Jesus. We can not even begin to comprehend how powerful His love actually is. In order to understand the love of Jesus let’s just say that Jesus loves you more than a fat kid loves cake.
This is a love/hate photo for me. I love this photo because it shows tremendous spirit and a sense of true appreciation for salvation. I hate this photo because it makes me realize how truly spoiled and ungrateful I am.
My wish is to have a faith like those pictured above.
